Construction employers report difficulty finding qualified workers at all levels of the industry from entry-level and semi-skilled craft workers to managers and subcontractors. Currently, 12 of the 20 “hot jobs” in Florida are construction-industry related, according to the Florida Department of Economic Opportunity.
Veterans and construction industry employers can contact Paul Johnson at 727-460-7574 for information on how to participate.
HBI PACT is funded by the Florida Department of Economic Opportunity.
