Project CRAFT

In 1994, the U.S. Department of Labor/Employment and Training Administration awarded a Youth Offender Demonstration Grant to Home Builders Institute for the establishment of Project CRAFT.

HBI founded the program based on seven combined components from proven vocational training programs targeted at adult offenders, homeless men and women and economically disadvantaged youth.

These program components remain the foundation of all HBI's Project CRAFT programs:

Partnership-building and Linkages
Community Involvement
Leadership Development
Follow-up Support Services
Comprehensive Service Delivery
Industry-driven Training
Job Placement

Current Programs
