Project TRADE (Training, Restitution, Apprenticeship Development Employment), is a program designed to train and place adult ex-offenders.
Project TRADE began as a demonstration program in 1995. Since that time more than 1,350 offenders have been trained for employment in the home building industry through Project TRADE programs in Illinois, Florida, Maryland, North Carolina, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Virginia, Washington, Tennessee and Colorado.
Currently, TRADE is implemented in Colorado Springs, Colorado amd Sheridan, Illinois.

Project TRADE in Colorado Springs was established in 1998 through a partnership with ComCor, Inc., the state’s largest community-based correctional services provider.
