As the nation's leader in residential construction training and education, HBI has incorporated environmentally friendly and energy efficient practices into its curriculum for many years.

Today, HBI is building a greener workforce by ensuring its training is aligned to the new National Green Building Standard™. The Institute is also raising awareness on the importance of green building practices and  contributing to the development of a workforce that is skilled in resource-efficient and environmentally-friendly techniques.

Job Corps Green Curriculum
Job Corps is HBI's largest program and has utilized NAHB's Green Building Guidelines in its training curriculum for many years. HBI's Job Corps programs continue to enhance thier curriculum to meet the new National Green Building Standard™.
