RCA Series
The Residential Construction Academy Series was born out of an HBI partnership with Delmar Cengage Learning to develop textbooks and instructional materials in carpentry, electrical, plumbing, facilities maintenance and HVAC.  The RCA Series is based on skill standards developed by NAHB members.

Pre-Apprenticeship Certificate Training (PACT)
HBI’s Pre-Apprenticeship Certificate Training (PACT) training lays the foundation for participation in an apprenticeship. An apprenticeship is a training program formally approved by the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Apprenticeship or by a State Apprenticeship Council.

Credentialing
HBI credentials both students and technical education institutions when they use the Residential Construction Academy (RCA) series of textbooks/multimedia materials and utilize the Series’ skills standards.

Competition Books
The annual Residential Construction Competitions at the International Builders’ Show are a major part of NAHB Student Chapters activities. Over fifty teams from universities, two year colleges and secondary schools compete against one another in their respective categories. HBI offers the first place competition books, in each of the three categories, for sale so that interested teams can learn from their example.
