Apprenticeships

A proven method to prepare workers for on-the-job experience, apprenticeships ensure businesses are equipped with a highly skilled workforce. This employer-driven “learn-while-you-earn” model combines employer training with relevant instruction that aligns with national skills standards. The apprenticeship programs allow for flexible training that can be easily customized to the individual needs of a particular business. Apprentices may be new hires or current employees that would benefit from further skill refinement and development. Apprentices that complete the program gain a nationally recognized, portable credential, such as a Journeyperson License or Master Tradesman License, boosting their long-term career opportunities while incurring little to no educational debt.
