Today's young students should have options beyond the costly four-year college track. That is why we partner with schools and non-profit organizations across the country who want to utilize our award-winning Pre-Apprenticeship Certificate Training (PACT) curriculum in their programs to provide trades education and training programs that offer HBI's industry-recognized certifications.
Schools and organizations that license our curriculum also receive a PACT instructor guide, instructor training, certification and technical assistance, PACT student workbook, and student certifications. Additionally, CTEtechworks, our online learning management system, provides blended learning resources for students that mimics the classroom environment and provides instructors with tools for teaching. Don't wait to provide your students with career technical education that could help build their careers and change their lives!
In 2022, HBI and The Home Depot Foundation launched a strategic partnership with 100 Black Men of America, Inc. to increase skilled trades training, education and career opportunities for black youth and other minorities. The joint program, Expanding the Trades Pathway, provides high school students in vulnerable communities in Atlanta, Philadelphia, and Oakland with the foundational instruction necessary for pursuing a successful and stable career in the skilled trades.
Schools to Skills:
The Schools to Skills Grant Program is generously funded by The Home Depot Foundation and the National Housing Endowment and provides funding to assist secondary schools nationwide in creating or enhancing their construction trades programs. The two-year grant program provides secondary schools with HBI's nationally recognized, patented Pre-Apprenticeship Certification Training (PACT) curriculum.
