We are excited to share that HBI, in partnership with 100 Black Men of America and The Home Depot Foundation, is expanding its workforce development initiative with a new site at Legacy High School in Las Vegas, NV.
This addition builds on the success of existing programs in the Bay Area, CA, Atlanta, GA, and Philadelphia, PA. By bringing the program to Legacy High School, more students will have access to hands-on training, industry-recognized certifications, and invaluable mentorship opportunities that prepare them for careers in the building industry.
A Partnership Built on Workforce Development and Mentorship
This initiative is part of a larger effort to strengthen the skilled trades workforce by equipping students with the knowledge, experience, and industry connections they need to succeed.
Commitment to Workforce Development:
The collaboration between HBI, The Home Depot Foundation, and 100 Black Men of America is dedicated to addressing the skilled labor shortage by providing students with high-quality training and nationally recognized credentials.
Expansion of Impact:
The program’s success in other cities demonstrates the power of this partnership and its ability to scale across communities, creating new opportunities for young people.
Support from The Home Depot Foundation:
Thanks to The Home Depot Foundation’s investment, students gain access to industry-leading training at no cost.
Mentorship Through 100 Black Men of America:
Beyond technical training, students benefit from personal and professional guidance from dedicated mentors who support leadership development, career readiness, and overall success.
