HBI GRADUATES ARE TAUGHT BY SKILLED TRADES INSTRUCTORS
  • Through trade certification programs, assistance with apprenticeships, and job placement services, HBI prepares its graduates with technical and employability skills needed for a successful career in the building industry.
  • Trained graduates are available for hire throughout the year.
  • Graduates receive an HBI pre-apprenticeship certificate in their trade of study and OSHA 10-Hour Construction Safety Training.
  • Graduates leave training with basic hand tools and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
  • Students accumulate an average of 1000 hours of training.
  • Students receive onsite training at over 60 centers across the country.
  • Students are trained in a drug-free environment.
  • HBI recruits a diverse pool of students to train in various trades.
  • HBI training is grounded in the Industry’s National Construction Skills Standards and the American National Standards Institute (ANSI)-approved National Green Building Standard™ and taught by experienced instructors through HBI’s Residential Construction Academy Series textbooks and instructional aides.
